A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to receive a fab package filled to the brim with goodies from the beauties over at Herbalife. If you’ve been reading my blog for a while now you would definitely be well aware of my obsession fondness for all things skincare. I seem to be including a skin care product in at least every other post but I’ve just found so many beauties I have to share them with you.
Many of you may know Herbalife as one of the worlds leaders in health supplements, well now they’ve entered the skincare market and I can really see them making a dent in it like they have the health industry. Herbalife have recently released SKIN they’re new skincare range with products to tackles all of your skincare needs. Within the collection you can get everything from a soothing or polishing cleanser, toner, glowing moisturiser, night cream, line reducing serum, SPF moisturiser, Firming or Hydrating eye cream Berry Scrub and a Clay Mask. They have really thought of everything for your skin. The packaging is also adorned with a number to help you along the steps of each of these products. I know its really helped me as with in and around 6 items to use every morning, sometimes without coffee the order can get seriously mixed up!!
The range includes a mix of vitamin B, antioxidants Vitamins C & E and Aloe Vera, all of which as included to penetrate deep into the skin while enhancing, improving and nourishing your complexion so you can see the results of the skincare within 7 days. Now I won’t lie I didn’t see mind boggling results in 7 days, mainly because my lifestyle within the first 7 days of using it wasn’t the best, aka no sleep, constant coffee and of course wine. However now a month of dedicated use in I can safely say my makeup is looking a lot better to the point of this self conscious, large dark circles girl is in a coffee shop writing this most with nothing more than toner, and eye cream on, both SKIN! I’ve found my skin to be so vibrant and clear from all imperfections.
From the SKIN range I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to try the Polishing Citrus Cleanser, Energising Herbal Toner and Firming Eye Gel. Each have helped in their own unique way.
Polishing Citrus Cleanser * RRP £19.25
When I received the email from SKIN asking would I like the sample some of their products I jumped at a cleanser immediately as I needed something to help polish up my skin and really get rid of all of the nasties that build up. This cleanser is created for Oily to Normal skin. I have pretty normal skin but lately I noticed a large amount of oil occur and there for my make up didn’t sit right in places so I had to try this out. Containing Jojoba Microbeads, hints of orange and grapefruit oil it is designed to revive your complexion and leave you feeling fresh and exhilarated. It promises to reduce the skins sebum after just one use. While it can be used daily I’m a brat and don’t so I probably haven’t given myself the best chance at seeing optimum results but I used it about twice a week and have really seen a reduction in oil build up and my make up has truly stayed on longer than ever. I’m very impressed.
Energising Herbal Toner * RRP £14.60
This is hands down my favourite product out of the whole bunch! I had been using a simple drugstore toner that to be frank I actually wondered was there any point because things didn’t change in my skin if I wore it or I didn’t. I began to think I had been duped my the marketing ploys behind the need for toner. This handy mandarin scented bottle has really changed my opinion now! It is an Aloe Vera, alcohol free toner that promises to instantly hydrate your skin and create the perfect base for the next steps in your make up routine, serums/moisturisers. It is said to be great for tired skin, which I can 100% say is true. Given my B12 deficiency has come and bitten me hard on the bottom I am beyond tired and sleepy at the moment and this has made me look as though I have slept for days. I love just spraying this on and adding a little bit of my Pink Cow Brand moisturiser for the perfect no make up days.
Eye cream is something I seriously needed to start integrating into my skincare routine. I think you can leave all the mystical lotions and potions promising everything from wrinkle free skin to 10 years younger in 10 minutes (obviously not real, but imagine if it was!!!!!) but eye cream really should be a necessity even at 23! This beauty promises to improve the delicate area around the eye, increase skins elasticity and to firm and create more youthful eyes. I try to use this every other night , reason being as I found it quite strong on my eyes to use every day as recommended but its still doing an amazing job. I had notices some lines and folds in my eyes that have now disappeared, as has my eye cream which magically made its way into my moms room on many occasions.
I really have benefited from these beauties, my skin has quickly adapted to the routine and I’m so happy with how its looking at the moment! I’m prepping a full skincare post with everything I uses soon so keep an eye out over the next few weeks!!!
