A Morning With Armani

Armani Beauty is 15 years old and this Autumn they will be bringing out one heck of a beautiful collection filled with Colour and Sparkle! 

So last week I was so lucky to have the opportunity to meet the beautiful Thoa Tran, International Face Designer for Armani Beauty. I met Thoa before a few months ago and I was so incredible to have a one on one chat and beauty session with her. She is one of those people that just has a beautiful soul, is incredibly friendly and kind, not to mention her flawless make up skills. She’s a master.

The reason for having a catch up with Thoa was to celebrate the launch of the new limited edition Eclipse collection coming this autumn, and also to celebrate the 15th anniversary of Armani Beauty. I honestly thought it was a heck of a lot longer since the brands launched the beauty division, I was seriously surprised. Thoa has actually been with Armani Beauty since the beginning and had a lot of stories to tell!

The new limited edition Eclipse collection is inspired by sun, light, darkness and shadows, which is extremely evident from the range of colours through.  It is full of variety, sparkle and wearable pops of colour.

Within the collection is 4 new beautiful liquid liners, 4 eye tints, 2 new brows waxes and the most incredible highlighter that has ever existed.

The liquid liners are so beautiful and incredibly long lasting. Even with a weeping eye all day, my liner stayed pretty much in place. I asked Thoa to take me out of my comfort zone when she was applying my makeup and I am so glad she did. She applied the green eyeliner and I kept getting comments all day long. It was amazing. 

Can we just talk about this highlighter!!!! I have never seen something so glistening and beautiful before in my life. Thoa used it to highlight my cheeks, eyebrow, tear duct and cupids bow. It was perfection. I cannot wait to get my hands on this when it hits shelves this autumn. – I think I’ll be picking this up over the Becca Champagne Pop!! 

The new nail polishes are beautiful and autumn themed. The colours are so unique and incredibly wearable. Also with a little added sparkle it gives you a wearable glitter nail while still being mature and not 5 again!! (Although that being said – I do love a glitter nail!!!) 

Can we just take a second to fall in love with these eye tints!!! Now there is 4, but the beautiful blue never made it into my photos unfortunately, aka I’m an idiot and was too mesmerised by the pretty colours to notice!!!. Like with the liquid liners, Thoa really took me out of my comfort zone when applying the Eye Tint’s. Thoa used a combination of the Gold and Rust Orange and I instantly fell in love. It was a look I never would have imagined liking, but I loved every minute of wearing it and hated having to take it off that evening. 

In my crease Thoa blended in one of the new brow waxes (which of course I totally remembered to take a photo of!!!!) as well as using it on my brows, and to define my contour. It is the perfect multi use product!! 

Just look at the swatches!! Beautiful! 

As my photography skills were outrageous – I blame my currently falling apart IPhone, no joke it’s genuinely coming apart, I nabbed this beauty from Google so you all can have a better look at whats coming to Armani counters near you very soon! 

Before I left I had to nab Thoa for a quick selfie. She is so beautiful and if you ever get the chance to meet her you will instantly fall in love with her personality just like I have!!

How amazing does the blended gold and rust orange look?? I was obsessed with it! It will definitely be a look I will try time and time again to recreate. 

Also that highlight, just loook at it. It pops in the light, its perfection.
