A Day With Cocoa Brown – #PassionPersistencePink, The New Cocoa Brown Tan & an OOTD

Nothings better than a Sunday of Pink with Cocoa Brown Tan!!!

 So last Sunday,  a week ago I know I’m so behind on posts, I attended Cocoa Brown Tans #PassionPersistencePink event in the ever fabulous Shelbourne Hotel on Stephens Green. The beautiful Marissa Carter talked so much about it on Snapchat (CarterMarissa make sure to add her!) that I know it was going to be an amazing day but she completely overdid my expectations.

Along with an amazing Make Up demo by the famed X-Factor MakeUp artist Julia Carta, who is a doll, Marissa giving us a tutorial on her fab Tontouring tricks, an amazing demo on Ombre Lips and all the chats you can ever need, let alone THE LAUNCH OF NEW COCOA BROWN TAN!! – more on these beauties a little later.

Marissa and the Cocoa Brown beauties Stephanie and Kate really know how to plan an amazing event. Not only was the Shelbourne decked out to perfection and filled to the brim with beauties, we were all made feel so special and as if it was an intimate event, also got a sneak peak at wedding table settings the way it was laid out but lets not say that to John haha!

We were served up Afternoon Tea and had unbelievable chats, I was so upset when the evening was over and we had to leave. I would have stayed for the evening chatting away to all my blogger buddies and our table pals, and of course Marissa made the event so much fun and engaging it was a shame to see it end.

If you’ve ever had the pleasure to meet Marissa in person, or even over her snapchat, you will know she is the kindest, sweetest and most supportive person in the world. A mother and global business woman she is the only inspiration a girl can ever need! If you have yet to follow her on social media you absolutely have too. She’s one of a kind!

If you’ve been following my blog for a while you will know that I absolutely adore Cocoa Brown. I still can’t believe the tan is only like 2 years old, I can’t honestly remember a time I didn’t use it. The One Hour Tan in Dark will forever be my holy grail but I think I have a new soft spot for the new tans to join the Cocoa Brown family.

Like I said to the Cocoa Brown Girls these new beauties are exactly what Cocoa Brown needed to add! I’m sure you’ve seen them all over Twitter and Instagram but……… THEY ARE WASH OFF INSTANT TAN BRONZING GELS!!! yayyyyyyyy!!!!!

Available in a Shimmer and a Matte these are going to be ideal for the winter season if your brave enough to go bare legged or want to give your arms a tan boost. The lovely Kate was wearing the Shimmer over her one hour tan on her legs and it looked unbelievable.

I can’t wait to really put them too the test next time I head on a girls night and I promise to give you all an update on how they go but so far I am in love. I headed out for lunch on Wednesday, and as it was surprisingly sunny I threw on a dress and pumped up my leg tan with some of the Matte shade and fell in love. Its not orange like many instant tans can come out, instead it is the perfect tanned shade.
