What Salon – A Beauty Lovers Best Friend (& A Cheeky €5 Credit for Every Reader!)

Imagine having an app to book your hair and nails without the hassle of ringing – yep that exists.

A few weeks ago I was contacted by an app called WhatSalon asking do I want to try out the app and get myself a blow dry…..ehh yes!!!! I used WhatSalon a few years ago when it first came on the scene and now it is back and relaunched into the fabulous beauty filled creation it is today.

WhatSalon is all about convenience. Along with the annoying task of ringing up a salon for an appointment, most of the time you can’t hear them if there is a blow dryer in the back ground or you spend most of the time going back and forth if your time isn’t available. As silly as it sounds, it can be quite a stress. That’s where WhatSalon comes you. The app has an amazing range of salons all over Dublin and Cork on its book and its as easy as picking your favourite salon or else your desired treatment and away you go.

Once you’ve picked your treatment, which as you can see is super dooper easy you just book!! You pay 10% in advance, which makes it a little bit cheaper in store, and the rest when your in the salon. I also have a code for you to get €5 credit on your WhatSalon accounts. Just use ROISIN5 and you can use that against your treatments! Handy Dandy!

Once confirmed you get a receipt as well as a text reminder, which is necessary for me as I am super forgetful! I am also one of those people who lives on apps, if it could make my bed for me I’d have a monthly subscription. So when something like this rolls around I absolutely adore it. I remember the previous version had a lot more salons on its books so I can’t wait to see how WhatSalon grows over the coming weeks and months.

Even since I had my blowdry the app has had an update and it looks absolutely incredible!!

Now about my blowdry – que a million and one selfies!

So I popped into Pzazz in The Powerscourt Centre, which is a salon i have been dying to try for years. It was mums pre- baby haunt, and I think she’s a little jel I was in there for a blowdry. I think its such a treat to get your hair done in town and I loved the whole atmosphere of Pzazz and Kiana who was my stylist when I popped in was hands down the sweetest person ever. I would go back purely for her, and for Pzazz it was fab!!

The Next morning was the Cocoa Brown #PassionPersistencePink event so it was a real treat having my hair pretty much done when I woke up. The blowdry held up incredibly well and saw me straight through to Tuesday! Let it be known I’m one of those every 4 day hair washing people so its the style I’m talking about here. It probably could have gone at least another day.

I absolutely adored the way Kiana styled my curly blow dry and will 100% go back for her! If your in need of a blow dry in town she’s your girl! I also looked at the prices of cuts in Pzazz and for a city centre salon its incredibly well priced so I will definitely be popping in in the coming weeks to get my locks tamed.

I absolutely adored the whole experience using WhatSalon and it’s one of those apps that will be my go too come treatment day. I can’t wait to see what new salons come on board and you will definitely see my snapping all about my next visits!!

Happy Beautifying <3

Your hair looks amazing! I love a good curly blow dry – I've just had mine done and all I'm doing today is watching the rugby and baking a tart so I feel like I've wasted a good hair day! xx
