Its All About The Shoes- OOTD and Recipe Post

Hello Lovelies,

Sorry its been nearly a week since my last blog post. I really need to prep a few so I don’t keep falling behind. I know I continuously say that, but I really really do.

So this week I popped out for a few nibbles with the boy then on to a few drinks in town with our friends. It was a really casual laid back night and a much needed break from the hustsle and bustle of this last few days.

OOTD

I really kept it quite simple

Jacket- Zara

Blazer- Miss Selfridge- this has seriously become my absolute go to lately

Peplum- Topshop

Jeans- Zara

Heels- Kurt Geiger

Bag- A steal from Primark/Pennys

Necklace- Banana Republic,

(Sadly my necklace had an accident while out and is hopefully being put back together)

I have come to the conclusion that I seriously dress the same EVERY time I go out. Mission for tonight is to clean out the old wardrobe and get out some new going out options.

Im heading out for a birthday party tomorrow night so I need some new options not only for here but also for my facebook- I’m beginning to look as if I have no clothes, and as my friends would say- my wardrobe is like a shop its so full.

Recipe Time;

Now I’m not usually one to swipe recipes from restaurant- ok so maybe I am- but I’ll usually tweak them, this seriously doesn’t need tweaking. I got this cocktail while out at dinner, It was the special of the day and just couldn’t say no.

Called a Southside- its a varientation of a cocktail famous in the 1930- one one the main reasons I said ”Yes Yes Yes” when the bartender offered it to me.

Normally made with Gin, I requested vodka for this little beauty

SouthSide

Nice glug of Vodka

Shot of sugar syrup

Squeeze of lime

Handful of mint

All shaken together with ice ,

served in a martini glass with a cucumber to garnish

So simple yet so amazing. Let me know if you try it I promise you won’t be disappointed

xx

love the colour of those shoes! I'm guilty of dressing the same all the time too! I'm hoping when it gets warmer there will be more options

Love your outfit, the shoes always add that little something extra.

Fab cocktail recipe too – I'm never one to turn down a cocktail so I'll be giving this a go! x
