ITS FINALLY 2015!! New Years Eve & OOTN

New years is finally here. Honestly cant believe how quickly this last year has past. I mentioned about this past year and how I have struggled through it in my last post (read here).  So I don’t want to bore all of you again with reiterating, so I’ve decided to turn this 2015 post into a more cheery selfie filled blog that will make the turn of the year a little more cheery.

Me and the boy have always slightly hated New Year, obviously not after last New Years but who could ever top Paris. That being said we decided to put not to many expectations on New Years eve and just have a very chilled relaxing evening with friends, which actually ended up being a surprisingly amazing NYE and one that I definitely will repeat.

Even though it was a very relaxed New Years I didn’t scrimp on the girly prepping. I Instagrammed this pic of my nails – and lots of you lovelies seemed to like it so I thought I’d pop it into my blog. It is OPI’s Nein Nein Nein, Ok Fine* on my fingers and Nails Inc Electric Avenue on my Ring finger. This accent finger is a trend I am seriously loving at the moment.

We decided to pop along to one of our favourite bars in Dublin – Dakota on South William Street. We had a reservation for Christmas Eve that was sadly messed up and resulted in us waiting for a seat for an hour, however the manager was bending over backwards and filing us full of drinks on the house we made a reservation on the spot for NYE. It was the best idea ever as the bar was packed to the brim and absolutely amazing.

Living on a diet of Verve pre going out and Bellinis, Margaritas and then Beer (Why oh Why) I had one incredible evening out with some amazing friends to ring in the New Year. It was definitely better than any night club or = major event. It was an amazing night with friends and just the fun but relaxing night to say goodbye to 2014 and hello to a brand new year.

The few too many cocktails and maybe the beer on top turned me into the selfie queen of the night, all to the delight of my friend who couldn’t stop laughing.

New Years Eve Outfit Of The Night.

As it was a casual enough night out, I kept my outfit casual enough. Please excuse the awful quality but its fairly hard to take a good outfit pic in a crowded bar!!

(Please excuse the sexy double chin issue going on above…..something must have been awfully funny)
