Starting 2016 off right and getting ready for Summer with some super yummy Alpro Smoothie Bowls
A few weeks ago, on my Birthday in fact, I received one incredible goodie box from the lovelies in Alpro. If you’ve been a reader of The Fashionista Observer for a while than you will know that I have had the absolute pleasure to work with Alpro before -> Read all about my previous Alpro challenges here -> Alpro AM Challenge Part 1, Alpro AM Challenge Part 2, Alpro Tops Challenge , Alpro Oat Drink
This time around the Alpro challenge was to create smoothie bowls for the perfect morning breakfast, and to do that Alpro were beyond incredible and sent me over a NutriBullet….eh what????!!!!!
So with NutriBullet on hand I set out to make some amazing Alpro breakfasts, and haven’t stopped since. (I do how ever have to up my smoothie bowl presentation skills!)
If your looking for a healthy start to your morning and to get yourself on track this year, can I say that now that we are in March?, keep reading for some incredible recipes.
Day 1.
Post my birthday celebrations the evening before, I was craving something light and fruity for my first Alpro smoothie bowl. I mixed the plain Alpro Big Pot, some frozen berried and banana in my NutriBullet. A quick blitz, and topped with cinnamon and oatmeal for a bit of texture, I was done, and my dear lord was it yummy!
Day 2
On day 2 I was feeling a little more adventurous so I mixed Alpro Plain Big Post, a Kiwi and a Banana in my NutriBullet. I finished it off with mixed nuts, raisins and yogurt covered raisins. This was so refreshing and perfect for a summers day sitting outside with a coffee.
Day 3 (& Day 4)
With the weekend over and back to my desk, Monday mornings smoothie bowl was enjoyed straight out of my NutriBullet container. This was my far my favourite creation, and given I’m such a creature of habit it was my go to for the next day as well. A simple recipe of Alpro Big Pot Coconut (Which is out of this world!!!) and a hand full of Strawberries. How simple.
This can be prepared the night before which is a dream for a morning dash to work. It also tastes just like dessert and definitely wouldn’t be out of place in the evening after dinner. I would definitely throw some granola on it for a bit of crunch.
Day 5
Alpro Almond Big Pot with a Banana was on the cards for Day 5. Similar to the Strawberries and Alpro Coconut Big Pot this can be prepared the night before and blitzed the morning off. This was definitely a lot richer than the others and I would probably add some raisins on top for a bit of texture next time.
Like every single blog post I have had the opportunity to work with Alpro on, I had an incredible time creating these recipes and cannot wait to continue my mornings off the Alpro way.
Have you tried any smoothie bowls yet? If you have make sure to pop your favourite recipes below so I can try them out for myself.
