May has finally arrived, and its time to pamper yourself while giving back with Benefit Cosmetics. Read on to see how you can do your bit and give back to 2 incredible Irish charities, while rocking some fabulous brows
A few weeks ago, I wrote a post all about an incredible Benefit dinner I attended where we learned all about their amazing global charity project – Bold is Beautiful.
The Bold is Beautiful Project is hands down one of the most incredible charity initiatives I’ve seen a global brand create in a very long time.
Launched last year in 4 countries, America, UK, Australia and France – raising $2,935,213 in those 4 regions, the Bold Is Beautiful Project is a global philanthropy programme that aims to give back to charities in the countries own market. This is what makes me truly admire Benefit for this project. As incredible as raising money for much needed worldwide charities, there is something special about taking part in a huge global initiative where the results can be seen in your local area.
This year the Bold Is Beautiful Project is expanding its reach and will take part in America, UK, Australia and France like last year, with the addition of Ireland, Spain, Singapore and Canada.
Money is raised for local charities in each region thorough the power of the Brow. This month pop into your local Benefit Brow Bar, book in to get your brows perfectly shaped (for only €16) and not only have all 100% of your €16 go towards the two local charities in your region, but also receive a free Gimmie Brow, worth €25 as a thank you!
If fabulous brows aren’t your thing, you will have the chance to donate when you make a transaction at any Benefit counter for the whole month of May. At the end of your transaction you can donate a few euro or even donate into the collection boxes at all Benefit counters.
If you also have some fun ideas to get some much needed donations, like a fun bake sale or charity run, contact the lovely beauties in Benefit and get collecting. Benefit love getting creative with their ideas so what ever you have in mind to raise some funds, I am sure they will love!
In Ireland the chosen charities are Daisy House and Look Good, Feel Better. Personally I don’t think they could have picked 2 better charities.
Daisyhouse
Daisyhouse is an incredible organisation that provides homeless women with skills, confidence, empower them to become independent, sustainable, and ultimately break the cycle of homelessness. They do this with the help of safe, secure and high quality affordable accommodation and unique support tailored to each individuals needs.
Look Good, Feel Better
Look Good, Feel Better is a truly unique charity they helps to improve the well being and confidence of women who are undergoing cancer treatment. Not only is LGFB an essential tool in boosting the confidence and moral of the cancer sufferer but also it creates a place where women can bond over there treatments and create a support network with other women in similar circumstances.
Make sure to pop in for a brow treatment or even to donate some much needed funds to these incredible charities!
