Start Your Morning Off Right With Alpro


On the look out for some nutritious and delicious breakfast recipes? I have just what you need to start your day off right, featuring some fabulous creations using Alpro Almond Milk.

If you have read my blog for a while, you will know I regularly feature recipes and creations from Alpro. They are a brand I love working with, mainly because of how much I adore the products.

I am not lactose intolerant however I find milk and dairy will give me a lot of gunk, how lovely! Once I switch to Alpro I get none of this, and I definitely think I prefer Alpro products to dairy, and with only 13 calories per 100ml it is an incredible alternative if you are dieting.

This week I am creating some amazing breakfast treats with the new Alpro Unroasted Almond milk, and regular Almond unsweetened milk.



I have  used the regular Almond Milk in coffees and for smoothies before, but I wanted to create some different breakfast treats this time around, one of which I actually created after taking all of these photos, so there is a lovely bonus recipe for you all to enjoy.



Berry-full Smoothie Bowl



In a blender combine

1 frozen banana,

1 handful of berries,

200ml of Alpro Unroasted Almond Unsweetened

1 tablespoon of Alpro Simply Plain big pot.

Once blended you will get an amazingly fruity smoothie bowl that is just what you need to start your day! Alter the measurements to your desired consistency with a little more Alpro Unroasted Almond milk to make it more of a thinner consistency, or a little more Alpro Simply Plain, or another half Banana, to give it a thicker consistency.


Wake Me Up Over Night Oats


Overnight oats seem to be all the rage at the moment, and here is an easy peasy recipe to start off your day.

Soak a handful of muesli and Alpro Almond Unsweetened Milk in a bowl and allow for the Alpro to soak into the Muesli.

In a jar or glass arrange your overnight oats the following way

Alpro muesli mixture,

Alpro Simply Plain Big Pot,

Layer of sliced strawberries,

Alpro muesli mixture,

Alpro Simply Plain Big Pot,

Layer of sliced strawberries,

finish with a layer of Alpro Simply Plain Big Pot to top it off.

Cover in cling film and leave in the fridge over night.

Once you awake you are greeted with a yummy dessert like breakfast that can be eaten on the go.


Finish off with a coating of cinnamon and granola for an added crunch.

If you want to be extra health conscious and want to add some protein into your diet? Add a spoon of flavoured protein powder into your Alpro muesli mixture to give some added flavour.

if you are craving a warm start to your morning, substitute milk for Alpro Almond milk in your porridge preparation for a natural sweetness and a breakfast that will set you up for the day!
