Your Summer Cravings Are Now Satisfied Thanks To Alpro’s New Ice-Cream Offerings

Just in time for warm summer days.

I’ve mentioned Alpro a number of times on the blog before as I’m sure you know and my love for them keeps on growing. A few weeks ago they asked would I like to try out Alpro’s new range of Ice- Cream and to be honest I was skeptical about a dairy free ice-cream alternative but OH – MY – GOD!  This is heaven. 

This plant based offering is a low sugar soy based alternative to our favourite summer treats. Available in 3 delicious flavours – Coconut, Vanilla and my personal favourite Hazelnut Chocolate. 

 

I was surprised how creamy the texture of the Alpro offering was and how ice-creamy they are (is that even a word?). 

A true testament to just how popular these Alpro alternatives are is evident from the fact none we available in my local shop when I went to re-stock! 

The Vanilla flavour  is perfect to serve with a simple shot of espresso to created a delicious Affogato. Trust me this is one you have to try out.    

These new Alpro offerings are a  healthy way to enjoy a summer treat without the guilt, this is if there are any left on the shop shelf! Available in Tesco’s now, these Alpro Ice-Cream, RRP €5,  will quickly become your Summer must have.
