Now that summers here not only is SPF an essential in our daily routines (read all about my favourites here) but daily skin care needs to be an essential as well. I have compiled my summer essentials that you need if your planning on going outside at all really this summer!
Vaseline Intensive Care Moisturiser*
I adore a good moisturiser and this stuff really nourishes my skin but the main benefit of it is that is has no scent at all. I really love moisturisers without a scent purely because it doesn’t interfere with my perfumes. There is never something worse than your perfume being ruined by the mix of scent from your moisturiser. So this is nourishing and non scented – ideal!
I have spouted on and on about this face mask god knows so many times and I’ll continue to do so for years to come. I was given it at an event last year and honestly don’t know how I ever lived without it. It’s one of those skincare products that refreshes my skin brings it back to life. I always use it in the evening going to bed and in the morning I feel fabulous.
I have mentioned this baby before and not only is it a daily necessity it is a summer one for sure. I tend to do a lot of no make up days during the summer, especially on holidays, as its sometimes just a hindrance in the heat. This beauty is the best to remove make up but it is a necessity to remove daily dirt and grime as well! Basically what I’m saying is that you need it asap!!!
Moisturiser is a skin requirement in the summer heat. Along with SPF, the sun also ruins our skins and dries it out, so along with my Vaseline moisturiser this baby is my daily go to. With my summer holidays fast approaching, I am anticipating this to be my best friend in Spain
Along with the Bioderma Micellar Water launching in Ireland, the other skincare and SPF pieces form Bioderma have landed on the Irish shores. I have already written about the SPF here . This is their incredible Pore refiner cream, which is also a fab make up primer. I always find my pore spring up like crazy in the summer months, so this is a life saver. It’s great to even wear on its on during sunny days!
Another beauty from Bioderma, are you surprised? This is their amazing BB cream, developed especially for people with a lot of redness to their skin, something I am very fortunate to not have a terrible lot off. It provides good coverage while still being very lightweight. I will be rocking this on holidays for sure!
