Charleston day 3

So yesterday was our last day in charleston town before we headed down to the Isle of Palms for the family gathering. Honestly so nervous to meet the boys family. But after being here a day they are all as lovely as I expected.

We decided since it was our last day in charleston town that we would go for a stroll around the town and college ( which I’m in love with)

We stumbled upon a market in Marion square beside our hotel. It was amazing. The park where the market was held had beautiful monuments and churches in it.

As well as the most amazing hummas ever… As shown by the smile above:D

The market stretched along the outside of the park and was filled to the brim with amazing food stalls and hand made goods. It was beautiful.

After the market we decided to hunt for the College of Charleston campus which is in the middle of the town just off King St! I have fallen head over heels for it. It slightly reminds me of Harvard college campus only smaller and more quant. Its hell week at the moment and all of the Greek houses are rushing ( I want to join one so badly shame I don’t go to college here)

The main college building has a beautiful courtyard in from of it. Absolutely in love with it. Iv even started researching doing another degree out here.

After my love affair of the college grounds ended we set off on our journey to the beach. At only a 30 minute drive out of charleston, the Isle of Palms is a MUST place to visit. It’s so beautiful. We are staying in a wonderful house overlooking the golf course and a lagoon. Himself is very excited at the idea of golf for a week…

I mean how beautiful is this place. It’s the perfect view to wake up too.

And the perfect place to enjoy a glass off wine in;)

Today has been spent lounging by the pool and visiting the yacht club. The idea of a boat rented for the day has been talked about. Meaning optimum tanning opportunities;)
