Charleston Day 8 9 & 10

So finally after a ‘lovely’ near 17 hour journey I am back snuggled up in my own bed resisting jet lag. Thanks to technical faults…aka my own fault , there aren’t many photos of the remaining days.

They seem to have passed by in a whirl of family outings , shopping , some more shopping and more bad weather thanks to Issac. However with didn’t let a little wind and rain dampen our last few days and instead all kept occupied with poker. Safe to say I left completely empty handed.

I can’t believe the trip is already over. It seriously just feels like it begun. It was one of those vacations that I will remember forever. At times it definitely was hard living with a group of people that I had only just met but I have left loving the boys family even more.

Thanks to some sun on friday we tanned, All Day Long. Just like all Irish do at the first sign of sun.

I will admit I’m going to really miss looking up at this house when tanning. It really was a beautiful place to stay.

The resort of Wild Dunes, Isle of Palms was just as nice. Its a really relaxing place to stay with golf courses and pools, gyms and tennis courts. Theres something to keep you occupied all day long, and at only around 5 miles long its so easily accessible.

Myself and the boy decided to take a break from tanning and golf-cart our way around the resort one last time. I forgot how beautiful it really is.

I’d recommend this resort to anyone traveling to South Carolina. Although a car is most definitely needed its still a beautiful place to stay.

Im now home in bed, in chilly Ireland, surrounded by suitcases and bags wishing I was back in the sun. Still after all the trips this summer it will be nice to be in the comfort of my own room for an extended period of time.

hope your all well.
