Neelu @ Arnotts

So I recently heard about this amazing opportunity I think would really interest all Beauty Bloggers out there, including myself. Many of you may know Neelu, one of the best and very long established leader in Irish Beauty Therapy. She recently moved location of her amazing treatment rooms in Arnotts ( cute map below) to within the amazing Arnotts Beauty Hall. Her new home is now located beside Pandora in the Arnotts Accessory and Jewellery Hally on the ground floor. Her new Salon includes 3 beautiful private treatment suites, a Manicure and Pedicure area and a dedicated threading station.  

She has decided to celebrate her recent move by sharing her in-depth knowledge of beauty therapy by hosting 4 amazing ” Neelu @ Arnotts Beauty Emporium ”Grooming Sessions”. These will give some amazing insider tips on how to look your best at every stage in like.

The 4 different sessions include; 

1.BASIC GROOMING – LOOK FLAWLESS FROM YOUR FOUNDATION UP   – Sunday 24th February – 1pm-3pm  Neelu will take participants back to basics and teach people how to look flawless from the foundation up. This is amazing for a complete beauty re-vamp The Basic Grooming Session takes place Sunday 24th February. Neelu will look at treatments to ensure impeccable grooming of the skin, hands, feet, nails, makeup, waxing and eyebrows. The whole body package. 

2.  SOPHISTICATED GROOMING (30+)- Sunday 3rd March – 1pm-3pm On Sunday 3rd March, Neelu’s Grooming Session will be looking at the health and beauty regime for women over 30. Hormones and stress can play havoc with a woman’s weight, cause changes in skin and nails and can cause facial hair. Neelu will explain the pros and cons of all the hair removal treatments for the face available on the market. She will also demonstrate how to choose the right foundation and how to apply it so that it will last for the whole day even for skin that suffers from hot flushes. This is a MUST treatment for anyone hitting that big 3-0 and over. 

3.  TEENAGE GROOMING – Sunday 24th March – 1pm-3pm 

On Sunday 24th March, Neelu with host ‘Teenage Grooming’. A 2 hour master class is the ideal opportunity for teenagers to receive some top tips on understanding their own skin and finding out what products and routines will suit their skin type. Neelu will also talk to teens on the importance of makeup and skin care and how to choose the appropriate one as well as discussing the importance of maintaining grooming routines for the eyebrows, hands, feet and nails. Other areas Neelu will cover include waxing and the importance of good sun protection, especially from a young age. This is an amazing opportunity for any teenagers who are either beginning to wear make-up or beginning to look into skin care. I truly wish I had the ability to attend something like this when I first started. I thankfully have mastered what my skin is and what my skin needs but I wish I could have leaned sooner. 

4.  MAGNIFICENT MUMS – POST NATAL GROOMING – Sunday 14th April – 1pm-3pm The final Grooming Session focuses on post-natal grooming and how to take care of yourself and look your best after having a baby. This session will take place on Sunday 14th April.  Neelu will discuss the changes that pregnancy causes to skin, nails , hair and figure. She will also suggest products that are safe to use while breast feeding and treatments that should be avoided during that period. Neelu will also talk to mums about how to get their figure back after giving birth and, most importantly, will share her time saving grooming and make up tips with new mums that lack time and sleep! I would advise all mum’s to attend this, its also a great way to get out of the house and have an afternoon with other mummy’s who can talk to you about everything post bump. 

Each Grooming Session will take place in Neelu @ Arnotts Beauty Emporium and will take 2 hours. Each session will cost €100 but €50 out of that is redeemable for a month against products or treatments (bar threading) Although I know it may cost a bit, it really is an amazing investment into you and your bodies future, and the €50 redeemable really is an added bonus.

*UPDATE* 

So I popped into Neelus on Friday afternoon for a quick file and polish, and boy did I learn a LOT!! While prepping my nails I was asked simple maintenance questions, little did I know I was doing EVERYTHING wrong! Turns out my nails are actually quite badly damaged. I have been known to use fairly low prices polishes e.g. topshop, h&m . I didn’t think anything was wrong with them but I was told differently. For a girl who never has worn fake nails, my nails are in the same conditions as if I was a constant wearer. There are a variety of chemicals in these polishes which strips the nails of all nutrients. So I was advised ( and happily so) I accepted to go with the shellac nails to give my own a break from constant changing! I love my shellacs and can’t wait to go back again

I also have taken nail care into consideration. After my appointment I popped into Boots and bought an Essie repairing base coat and a cute coral for after my Shellacs. I am currently building up my Essie , OPI and Butter London Nail Polish Collections. I really don’t want to have bad quality nails., I was scared straight into non-chemical polishes. Hopefully they stop breaking and begging to re-build!
