April Favourites

Hi lovelies,

Can’t believe another month has already passed, actually only feels like 2 weeks ago that I posted my March Favourites. It’s crazy!.

I love doing favourites posts. I always switch up my makeup and fall in and out of love with different pieces so its great to be able to remind my self what I love again and again. It’s also nice to take a bit of time out and pamper myself with these items and relax from exams.

I have such a variation of different favourites this month.

Benefit Fake Up

I posted about these a while back when I was fortunate to be invited to the launch. They are an amazing non crease hydrating concealer. I’ve fallen in love with the shade “Light” for under my eye. I have horrible dark circles thanks to a missing enzyme I’m my liver (*TMI*) so this really tones them down and makes them disappear.

I’ve also being using the “Dark” shade as a contour for my cheek bones instead of bronzer for those hot days (yes we’ve had a “few”). It’s the perfect bronze colour and is easily blended. I’d definitely urge everyone to try this during the summer. This will for sure be packed in my summer make up bag

Benefit “Pore-fessional”

I’ve dug this out from deep within my makeup drawer a while ago and now it’s become a daily element in my makeup routine. I’ve been using it as a primer to hide all my little pores or over my make up to do the same , or if I’m feeling a little “adventurous” I’ll do both! It just make everything disappear and makes your skin so insanely flawless. This + my beauty blender is a godsend!!!!!!

Cocoa Brown Tan

I’ve been an avid user of this for a few months now and can’t believe it’s this baby’s first appearance on my blog. An Irish created product it’s a fake tan which sets within 1HOUR!! And continues to set for up to 3 for a deeper colour. Now anyone who knows me knows I love love love my fake tan. So much so going out without it makes me feel genuinely naked. I’m also one of those people who applies tan from the boobs up and sometimes on the feet. So the majority of the time tan is only where visible, this really causes issues when I realise I’m heading out one night with only tan on my upper body- insert cocoa brown here. Slap this one, do your make up and you hair and “BOOM” your tanned and ready to go. Ill be having a full review on this in the next few weeks, have to go and stock up first I’ve used all mine up over the last few weeks

Butter London “Jasper”

While stuck in doors studying like crazy I started making my nails feel like summer at least. This is the most summer-esque colour in my collection and I love it. It’s so fun and cute and just perfect to make me feel a bit perkier when writing out reels of marketing and events notes. Only 2 more weeks left so thankfully I’m nearly done. Ill have a full review of this up during the week including some of the other colours from the Butter London collection.

NARS Laguna

This has been in my collection for a few months now (Hit the pan on it to, so upset). I got it as part of the birthday makeup haul from mum and dad and I love it. It was one of those beauty items I kept hearing about so I just had to have it. It’s so pigmentation and I love that it’s not shimmery as well, I get enough of that from my highlighter. I’d definitely recommend this to anyone who is in the market for a new bronzer. Ill be stocking up on a new one soon enough.

Urban Decay “Naked Basics Palette

This was also from my birthday haul from mum and dad. I originally wanted it purely for convenience for traveling and packing in my clutch on a night out, but since I started using it I’ve found I use it more than my Naked 1&2. Granted I still adore them for more of a dimension in colours and shimmers but this is perfect for transitioning a day to night look. It’s definitinitely a go to if you want to try out one of the Naked palettes. It has the perfect matts and an amazing shimmer,.
