I think its safe to say girls are obsessed with nail varnish

I know I am!

The feeling of having pretty nails & toes still hasn’t worn off since I was 5 years old and I don’t think it ever will,  however the obsession with multicolour and overly glittery nails has thankfully passed

MaxFactor and the amazing people at Burrell PR perked up my day when a package landed on my door on Monday morning filled to the brim with an array of glossy polishes and an amazing new foundation to boot  (You May have seen me rant and rave on Twitter and Insta about these bad boys!!!)– more on the foundation later.

Monday isn’t a favourite of anyone’s week so when the ping went in my inbox to a photo of the contents of this amazing package, it sure as hell became my favourite day that week. Mum was at home and very excited to experience blogger mail for a first time she quickly snapped (and I’m pretty sure tested ) the goodies to put a smile on my face.

Safe to say once 5 pm came on the clock I raced home to play with my new goodies.

MaxFactor is now launching a brand new Gel Shine* range of products. All promising to give you the same results as the Salon would. They are very highly pigmented and 2 coats gives 100% coverage of the nail. They also contain a thick formula which stops it from setting into the ridges of the nails, leaving a smooth glossy finish, however beware this can have a reverse effect and result in a slightly gloomy polish so work very fast. 

There is also a special two-fold patented plasticise adds flexibility to the nitrocelluslose , which is found in the majority of nail polishes. This provides a stronger flexibility as well as a resistance film to minimise the chances of chipping!!

Now on to the foundation, In with a bundle of nail polishes was the new Skin Luminizer foundation. I was gifted the shade Light Ivory (40) and its a smudge too light but it will be perfect for the day time. 

It contains innovative swirled formula packed with subtile lumbers that give you the most incredible glow. 

The product itself offers a medium coverage, which is perfect for day time wear, and it contains a mix of B & E vitamins which work to replenish the skins natural moisture balance!
