Tanning Tuesday – Madame La La

I’m sure most of you already know, but if not here’s a little bit of useless information for you on a Tuesday morning, I am a tanaholic! I love nothing more than a summery glow to keep me looking somewhat normal all year round. If you’ve ever been graced with the torture pleasure of seeing me with no tan on, then you’ll know I’m seriously pale…..like ghostly!!! So pale in-fact when my boyfriends family first saw me sans tan (5 years ago may I add) not only did they want to bring me to the doctor but his brother oh so lovingly coined the nickname ‘Casper’ that’s still haunting me. Since then I have rarely ventured out tanless, this has meant I have amassed a seriously large tanning collection.

If you read my blog regularly you know that I am obsessed with Cocoa Brown Tan, and while I will never lose my love for Cocoa Brown, lately I’ve wanted to branch out and try different tans and see whats out on the market. I’ve found a few I’ve loved and a few I haven’t really been to obsessed about. To talk about all of these new tan’s I’ve been trying out, and some already in my collection I wanted to start a new section on the blog ‘Tanning Tuesday!!” Every Tuesday (or possibly every other Tuesday!) I’ll be blogging about different tans I’ve been trying out and give you my yay or nay opinions.

To start off, I’m blogging about Madame La La Tan. I was lucky enough to be sent this for review, its a tan I have never heard off, so I was very excited to try it out. Madame La La Tan is an American/British brand inspired by the Malibu Beach and Hollywood Lifestyle. It is infused with Coco Water to benefit the skins hydration as well as including anti-ageing ingredients including Aleo, Vitamin E and Green Tea.

I was sent the ‘Light’ version of the day which was quite different than the deep dark glow that I’m used to, but after 2 coats it was at the perfect colour I always aim for. There is an incredible colour pay off when applying the tan which is fab because there is a lot less room for error with missed spots so I found the tan went on perfectly, and once washed off the morning after I applied It was perfect.

Priced at £36 it is really on the higher range of the tanning scale, and really a lot more than I really ever pay for tan. The colour of the tan is absolutely beautiful but as its a light shade it fades a lot quicker than a darker shade would.
