February Favourites

I know February is well and truly passed but I’m keeping to my word of doing a favourites every month(or at least trying too!!!).This month I was so lucky to have the opportunity to try out loads of new goodies, as well as fall back in love with some old ones! It was also my birthday, and as a good beauty blogger my birthday presents were all make up based, are you surprised??.

I’ve been in and out of tummy bugs since my birthday so please excuse the lack of post, yet again I promise I’ll do more, well I kind of have to since I have so many incredible things to write about. February was really a month of new favourites as well as remembering some old favourites I had simply forgotten about, which unfortunately happens when a) your lucky enough to receive some amazing product samples and b) when you have a awfully cheeky mom who loves to steal some of these products without you realising. This month I found a few goodies Ms sneaky stole and I remembered how much I loved them.

Skin, Hair and The Essentials.

Garnier Body – Intensive 7 Days Ultra- Replenishing Lotion

I found this amazing moisturiser in moms room when she was cleaning during the month. I adored this last summer but haven’t been able to find it until now, or I kinda forgot about it. Safe to say I snatched it back as soon as I saw it and I’ve been using it ever since. I’m in love with the Shea Butter scent, it just reminds me of summer and after sun. Perfection!! It is also an incredible moisturiser that truly does keep your skin soft and hydrated.

Ren Beauty Shot *

I blogged about this a few times recently, I was lucky enough to receive it at the launch event and I’ve been using it ever since in my skin care routine, blog post to come on that soon. I really have noticed a difference in the small amount of lines in my skin, believe me there was some. I love wearing it over my toner and under my moisturiser. I love how it really feels like its tightening the skin, and has giving me an incredible glow and a total new look. Definitely a product I will be repurchasing when its done.

Jo Malone – Wood Sage & Sea Salt Perfume

I was lucky enough to receive this for my birthday from the boyfriends mom, and it couldn’t have come soon enough. I have been so obsessed with this scent for about 6 months but never made the plunge to buy it, instead I doused myself in it every time I was in Jo Malone, I genuinely think the sales assistants we’re about to hide the sample when I walked it I used it that much. It is the most incredible and beautiful scent. The mix of the Sage and the Salt seem like they wouldn’t work but they blend to create an incredible fragrance that has now become my signature scent! The boy knows I love it so much he even bought me the matching candle!!!!

Colour Wow – Speed Dry

I’ve lost count of how often I’ve mentioned this amazing spray. I honestly thought it was a gimmick but honestly it has become a god send. All long haired girls ( and guys too) all know how torturous not pleasant it is to dry your hair after washing it, well this stuff genuinely cuts my hair drying by 3/4. I can dry my hair in about 5 minutes (now not style – that’s 15 minutes)! I haven’t noticed and negative effects to my hair either. Its still as soft as usually but now it dries a hell of a lot faster. Now this is a little pricey but it really is worth it.

Make Up!!

Hourglass Ambient Light Blusher in Radient Magenta

This baby worked it’s way into my make up bag during the month and I’m so lazy terrible but I always just grab from my make up bag and will rarely go through my make up collection for any other products other than for my eyes. I love this blusher and always have, a bit of a pricey brand so this is the only Hourglass palette I own, although I’m seriously contemplating getting one of the incredible foundation powders and maybe the incredible Modernist Eyeshadow palettes. Or both!!

Mac Prep & Prime Skin Base Visage

I have been in love with this since I nabbed a sample or two  of it when I was buying foundation in Mac a few months back. The boy was lovely enough to buy it for me, along with an insane amount of other make up, this past Christmas. I have been using it ever since to create a dewy look. It also really gives your foundation longevity so well worth it in my eyes.

Dr Lipp Lip Balm

This stuff has been an absolute godsend this last month. I don’t know how but my lips have a serious case of wind burn. After a few days of use my lips are back to perfection and no longer a chapped mess. It quickly became a handbag staple and now comes everywhere I go. This also works amazingly with my MAC lipliners which can come across quite drying when applied.

Benefit Roller Lash*

Ever since I was lucky enough to receive this at the launch I have been obsessed with it. I always think I have no mascaras and its the thing I can’t stop buying, but since I set up a proper make up storage unit, blog to come if your interested, I’ve noticed I have a heck of a lot of mascara!!! I’m obsessed! However this baby has really been my go too lately. This month I’ve become obsessed with false eyelashes, and this mascara really blends the natural and the false perfectly. The curl created when using this gives an amazing lash with or without fakes.

MAC Studio Sculpt Foundation NC30

This has been my go to foundation since I received it at Christmas. For very little product you get a flawless finish with an incredible staying power. It also looks beautiful in photos, even though it has an SPF within it, and doesn’t come across heavy at all on my skin. I am in absolute love with it and can’t see myself changing my opinions any time soon, this is definitely my favourite foundation, and will be for a very long time to come.

Eylure Eyebrow Palette

This palette has fast become the only brow product I need! With brow wax, powder and highlight you have the best brows in your handbag all the time. Brows have always been a bit of a hard thing for me to control master. They just don’t work for me after about 3 weeks post threading. I blame my obsessive plucking when I was in my teens. This palette has really helped me overcome my issues. The Wax in this palette helps to control the flyways and keeps the brows perfect for longer, or at least as good as I can make them!!!

Are any of these favourites yours as well? Love finding out what other products you guys love.

How do you find the Wood Sage and Sea Salt lasts on your skin? I adore the scent but it wears off so quickly on me that I've nearly finished 100ml that I got in September and I don't even use it that often! Such a shame because it is stunning xx

I find it alright on the skin, not incredible but I spray it on my clothes and it really lasts a lot longer. I absolutely adore it so I'm trying to use it as sparingly as possible. xxx
