I love these LifeLately posts, I feel they are an incredible way for me to connect with all of you guys when loads of hectic things are happening. Usually when I don’t post on here very often its mainly because I am extremely busy, or unfortunately like what has recently happened I’ve been quite sick. I know I must sounds like a baby broken record at this stage but ever since just after my birthday, which was the middle of February, I’ve been battling horrible stomach bugs, a bout of food poisoning (not nice at all) and most recently the most annoying cough, from the girl who never gets coughs, which has popped me back on an inhaler for the first time since I was 10!
To say it hasn’t been ideal is an understatement. I’ve now forced myself to be a bit healthier in myself, I’m getting on the bandwagon to lose the indulgent weight I piled on from pity food and I’m back to regular blogging once more. What better way to start than a Life Lately of course. I love these little snippets into my day to day because even sick, this girl knows how to snap an insta!!
At the beginning of the month, I was lucky enough to attend an incredible event for Giorgio Armani to launch the new Eye Tints with the help of International Face Designer Thoa Tran. The new Armani Eye Tints are a truly innovative collection of 12 unique and highly pigmented product, cased in a unique lipgloss style tub and brush packaging which really helps with application. Once applied the Eye Tint’s will transform into a solid, with incredible blendability, and will stay in place, without creasing for up to 16 hours.
These are so unique I cannot wait to get my hands on one or two for myself. What shades would you pick?
The Irish Beauty Show came around again and I was beyond excited. Unlike other years I went with a friend (I do have some you know!!). The beautiful Laura from Life, Laughs and Laura. I’ve known Laura for a good while now and definitely one of my firm blogger friends!! We decided to have a day of merriment and laughs while intending to run our bank accounts dry at the beauty show.
Of course I had to pop by the Cocoa Brown stand and stock up on tan to keep my summer glow fresh! I also got to see the beautiful Marissa and bump. Not only pregnant with baba 2, but fast growing an international empire. She really is an inspiration!!
I was honestly surprised at how little I bought compared to my list. Somehow when I go shopping all my planned items become irrelevant and I convince myself I don’t need them, therefore regretting not buying them when I get home. Along with my Cocoa Brown, I had to repurchase my Blank Canvas F20, along with some other face brushes and a few new eye shadow blending brushes. I also picked up an unbranded tanning mitt, some much needed nail envy, OPI Big Apple Red and Lincoln Park After Dark along with some beautiful glitter minis.
Of course the day wouldn’t have been complete without post shopping drinks, this was in no way influenced by the fact Laura had dragged me out for cocktails the night before and we were feeling ‘delicate’.
Another big adventure for my is hitting the gym again. When gran passed in August it really hit me hard and I started to comfort eat and turn into quite the hermit, however I’m now trying to combat my hermit lifestyle and hit the gym again. I took a good few months off but getting back to it hasn’t been as hard as I though. However my cold and aggravation to a back injury from weights has caused an unintended 2 week break but I’m itching to get back. Working out from home just isn’t the same.
Lots of Champagne was in order this week, and much more this weekend, as I received some beyond incredible news that I cant wait to share more off! Believe me I hate this whole telling but not telling crap but I want to wait until the time is right. I’m just to excited to not just share it a little bit!
Last night I was lucky enough to be invited to the H&M’s 10th Birthday here on Irish shores. I still can’t believe its 10 years old! I will have a seriously picture heavy post including my Outfit for the event going live tomorrow so keep an eye out.
