Benefit Fake Up Event, and Outfit of the Night.

  Hello Lovelies,

Hope you all well.

So last night , Friday, I was lucky enough to attend the Benefit “Fake Up” Launch in Harvey Nichols in Dundrum. This was my first EVER Benefit event, much to the surprise of my fellow blogger friends, so I was extremely excited about all the hype not only surrounding the product but also surrounding a Benefit Event…..and boy I seriously wasn’t depressed.

We were welcomed by the amazing Bene-team , Joanne , Caoimhe and Mark were all lovely and so welcoming, as was the amazing array of champagne and canapΓ©s that greeted us.

They even had mini Fish and Chips- How Adorable!!!!

Now over with all of the food, on to the ”Fake Up”.

I’ve been hearing a lot of hype about this through the blogging community. Thanks to the Benefit Fake Up road show a lot of bloggers around the UK and Ireland have been able to try this amazing product, and Im so insanely grateful that i’m one of them as well. The product isn’t available until the end of March so it was amazing to get a first look at it.

The lovely Mark gave us a great introduction to the product and also explained a bit about the technical side of things. Designed to hydrate the under eye area, and banish that dreadful cake-y look we have all suffered through with concealers.

The concealer its self is designed to hide your dark circles as well as smooth your skin and diffuses light. Its also surrounded by a Hydrating ring with Vitamin E and Apple Seed Extract which immediately hydrated your eyes. This is so technical and also amazing.

The amazing Mark colour matched us all to our ”Fake Up” shade. Of course me and my fake tanned self is the medium. He advises to place it in a V shape around you eyes to avoid over caking under the eye un-nessarly. He also threw a bit on my overly rose-y cheeks and it worked amazingly.

Not only did we get to play around with the product, we also got to mingle with one another. I had met a good few bloggers before at other events and of course the always regular twitter rambling, but there were a few new faces thrown into the mix.

My self with the lovely Sian (L) from Forever Fabulous In Bows and Laura (R) from All Made Up 21 I’ve met both of these lovely ladies before so it was amazing to catch up again, and plan a much needed girly shopping adventure.

I also got to meet the amazing Kelly Hope- the obviously educated – “Fake Up” genius of the night. The lucky thing won goodies for her technical knowledge of ”Fake Up”.

I also got to meet the lovely Alice from Pink Glitter 10 . I had never met her before and she’s an absolute doll.

It was such an amazing evening filled with lots of laughs and amazing champagne.

Not only did we leave perfectly concealed and with numerous twitter names to follow, we also got a lovely goodie bag from the lovely Bene-team.

Not only did they treat us to our matched ‘Fake Up” they also gave us the other two shades- which can be used to highlight and contour. They also spoilt us rotten with a Hello Flawless being its 1 year anniversary. I have always lusted after this product and soo happy its now mine.

Also how adorable is the packaging. Each box is a different colour to match its shade. This is such a cute touch, I love it.

Also when you open the beautiful boxes your created with the most amazing silver tubed packaging. So classy and cute.

I love each of these shade for different places on my face. They are so moisturising and nourishing. They also conceal so perfectly well that my dark circles are forever banished.

Outfit of the Night.

Now this wouldn’t be a blog post from moi without an outfit post. I was running around town all day going to meetings so I had to dress for the event at around 10 am. Since I was in town I decided to take advantage of my surrounding areas for my outfit post. Thankfully I was beside Stephens Green so decided to pop in and take my photos there.
